Last year our team planned and helped install 1 out of 5 of the rainwater harvesting rebate projects here in Tucson. Project Planning, rebates and site plans will always involve at least one Certified Rainwater Harvesting specialist. This certification requires 40 hours of class time and ensures that you will get quality advice and assistance. Additionally, we have gutter installers, foundation experts, structural engineers, and native plant gurus in our network that can assist with any technical advise or provide additional services upon request.

Recent City of Tucson RWH Rebate Changes:
-
You must retake the rebate class if you took it prior to July, 2023. This requirement simply reflects the large changes that were made and their desire that the rebate class properly inform people of the system and rebate requirements.
-
The rebate was changed from $1 per gallon for tanks over 800 gallons to $1 per gallon for 'properly sized' tanks that store 1 inch of rain or more. For tanks that store less than 1 inch of rain, the rebate is decreased to $.50 per gallon.
-
The rebate process is now all electronic.
-
After taking the class you submit a siteplan.
-
After the siteplan is approved you have 1 year to install the system.
-
After installation, you submit the receipts showing the work was completed and paid for, then a site inspection is scheduled.
-
After you pass the inspection, which simply checks to ensure that what was installed actually conforms to what was approved on the siteplan, your rebate check is processed and mailed to you.
